Data deletion

1.If your business uses DociToci

People in your business can delete data themselves, depending on what their role allows:

1. Disconnect a WhatsApp number. On the WhatsApp page, click Disconnect beside the number. Its messages and contact details are deleted straight away, and Meta's notifications for it stop being processed. You choose whether to keep the daily chat documents or move them to the Trash.
2. Delete documents. On the Documents page, delete a document to move it to the Trash. In the Trash, Delete Forever removes it with all its versions.
3. Disconnect a mailbox or drive. Disconnect offers to delete the copies DociToci holds. The stored password or sign-in is erased either way.
4. Remove DociToci's access at Meta. In your Meta business settings, remove DociToci's access to your WhatsApp Business Account. Meta then stops sending its messages to DociToci.
5. Delete everything. An administrator emails hello@docitoci.com from their work address with the subject Delete our DociToci data. For a server we operate, we delete all of the business's data within 30 days and confirm by email. If your business runs DociToci on its own server, your administrators can delete the data there, and we will help if asked.

2.If you messaged or emailed a business that uses DociToci

Your messages are in DociToci because that business connected its WhatsApp number or mailbox, and the business decides what it keeps. The quickest way is to ask the business directly.

You can also email hello@docitoci.com with the subject Data deletion request, including:

• the phone number or email address you used; and
• the name of the business.

We reply within 7 days, pass your request to the business, and help it delete your messages and contact details. Once the business confirms, the data is deleted from servers we operate within 30 days.

3.If you used Facebook to connect DociToci

Connecting a WhatsApp number goes through Meta's sign-up, where you sign in with Facebook. DociToci receives an access token for the business's WhatsApp account. It does not receive your Facebook password and does not keep your Facebook profile.

To remove DociToci from your Facebook account, open Facebook's Settings & privacy, then Business integrations, and remove DociToci. Then disconnect the number in DociToci as described in section 1.

4.When data is gone

When you asked us by email, we confirm by email once the deletion is done, and say what was deleted.
