These terms apply to the DociToci service and the website docitoci.com. By using DociToci, you and the business you work for agree to them. Where a business has signed a separate agreement or quotation with us, that agreement wins where the two differ.
1.The service
DociToci reads the documents, email and WhatsApp chats a business connects to it, and lets the business's staff search them, ask questions, draft replies and keep track of work. It runs on a server the business operates, or on a server we operate for the business.
2.Accounts
- The business's administrators create accounts and decide what each person may do.
- Keep your password to yourself. Tell your administrator straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- The business is responsible for what its users do in DociToci.
3.Your data
The business owns the content it connects or uploads. It gives us permission to store and process that content only to provide DociToci, keep it secure and give support. We do not sell it or use it for advertising. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
4.Acceptable use
You must not use DociToci to:
- break the law or anyone's rights;
- connect accounts, numbers or data you are not allowed to connect;
- send spam or messages people have not agreed to receive;
- try to reach another business's data, or attack or overload the service; or
- copy or reverse-engineer the software, except where the law allows it.
5.WhatsApp
A business that connects a WhatsApp Business number to DociToci:
- must follow the WhatsApp Business Terms of Service, the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and the WhatsApp Commerce Policy;
- must have its contacts' permission before messaging them first, and must stop when a contact asks;
- can reply freely within 24 hours of a contact's last message. Later messages must use templates approved by Meta, which Meta charges to the business's own WhatsApp account, separately from DociToci's fees; and
- accepts that Meta may limit, suspend or disconnect a number under its own rules, which we do not control.
DociToci sends a WhatsApp message only when a member of staff chooses to send it.
6.Other connected services
Microsoft, Google, Meta and AI providers each have their own terms for their services. DociToci reads connected accounts with the permission the business gives, and what it can do depends on those services being available.
DociToci never emails or messages a business's outside contacts without a person choosing to send it. The only automatic emails go to the business's own staff, and only those the business switches on, such as reminders and summaries.
7.AI answers and drafts
Answers and drafts are written by an AI model and can be incomplete or wrong. Check the sources DociToci shows, and read every draft before you send it. Do not rely on DociToci alone for legal, financial, medical or safety decisions.
8.Fees
- Packages bought online. A package's price, users, storage and support are those shown on docitoci.com when the business pays. Prices are in Pakistani rupees, paid in advance by bank transfer, for a month or for a year.
- Free trial. A business can try a package free for 14 days, with up to 5 users and 2 GB.
- When a trial or a paid period ends without payment, people can still sign in and pay, but the rest of the service stops until the business pays. If it does not pay, section 10 applies.
- AI use. AI answers, drafts and briefs are included for normal business use. Each person has a monthly allowance; past it, their questions pause until the next month begins.
- Agreements. A business with a quotation or agreement from us, such as Enterprise, pays what that sets out.
9.Availability and support
We work to keep the servers we operate running and to fix problems quickly, but we cannot promise the service will never be interrupted. We announce planned maintenance in advance where we can.
10.Suspension and ending
- A business can stop using DociToci as set out in its agreement.
- We may suspend access that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk. We will tell the business, unless the law or the urgency of the situation prevents it.
- When a business stops using a server we operate, it can ask us for a copy of its documents within 30 days. After that we delete its data, as the Privacy Policy describes.
11.Disclaimer
As far as the law allows, DociToci is provided as it is, without promises that it will suit a particular purpose or be free of errors.
12.Limits of liability
As far as the law allows, neither the business nor DociToci is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees the business paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
13.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date, and tell businesses that use DociToci about significant changes by email.
14.Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Lahore have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
