Ask a question in plain words and DociToci answers from your company's documents and email, showing the file each answer came from. You can type or speak, ask for a chart, and have the answer read aloud.
The video plays from YouTube when you click it.
Step by step
- Open Ask AI from the menu.
- Type your question in the box at the bottom, for example "What is the delivery date for PO 4471?", and click Send. While DociToci works, a line shows what it is doing, such as "Searching your documents".
- To ask by voice, click the microphone button beside the box, speak, and click it again to stop. Your words appear in the box so you can check them before you click Send.
- Under Sources, click a file name to open it beside the answer. The passage the answer came from is shown under Where the answer came from; in an email, the lines used are highlighted.
- To get a chart, put the word "chart" or "graph" in your question, for example "chart of fabric cost by style". The chart appears under the answer, and Data downloads its figures.
- To bring figures from several spreadsheets into one table, use a word such as "combine" or "merge" in your question. Under What would go in the file, untick any file that does not belong, then click Download Excel or Chart this.
- Click Listen under the answer to hear it read aloud. Click Stop to end.
- Answer Was this helpful? with Yes or No. After No, you can write what was wrong and click Send, or click Skip.
- Click New chat to start a new conversation. To keep, rename or remove an earlier one, click ⋮ beside it in the list and choose Pin, Rename or Delete.
Good to know
- Ask in English, Urdu or Chinese, typed or spoken; the answer is written in the language of your question. EN and 中文 at the top of the page change the language of the screens.
- The answer keeps being written if you move to another page. Come back to Ask AI to read it.
- Listen uses the voices on your computer. For Urdu or Chinese, add a voice in Windows Settings > Time & language > Speech.
- The label under an answer, such as Found a close match or Partial match only, says how closely your documents matched the question, not whether the answer is right.
