Step by step

1. Open CEO assistant from the menu while you are at the group office. Your tasks shows four tiles: Morning brief, Watch list, Questions on a schedule and Chase replies.
2. Click Settings on Morning brief, write what it should pick out in What to look out for, choose the days under Runs on and the time, then click Switch on. Run now writes a brief straight away.
3. Click Settings on Watch list, type what to watch for, such as "the bank replies about the LC", and click Add. Then click Switch on; it checks new emails and documents every 15 minutes.
4. Click Settings on Questions on a schedule, then Add a question. Type The question, choose the days and time, and click Add a question; Ask now asks it at once.
5. Click Settings on Chase replies, set Remind after (days waiting), and use Choose people to list anyone under Don't remind. Choose the days and time, click Save, then Switch on.
6. Click Run now to see whom Chase replies would remind. In Trial it sends nothing; after 3 trial runs, read their reports and click Go live, then Yes, go live.
7. Read the results under Reports, filtering with All, Briefs, Watch list, Questions or Chase replies. Click any email or document in a report to open it beside the page.
8. Click the microphone under Talk to your assistant and speak, or type a question and send it. The answer comes from the companies' emails and documents, with its sources.
9. Give it an instruction in the same box, such as "switch off the morning brief". It says what it will do; click Confirm to do it, or Cancel.

Good to know

• Listen reads a report or an answer aloud.
• Once live, Chase replies emails only your companies' own people, at most once a day each, and an email sent cannot be unsent. Back to trial stops it sending.
• A change that reminds sooner or reminds more people puts Chase replies back in trial.
• What the assistant reads and sends is recorded in each company's Activity log.
